Part-time User Research Assistant
After graduating in June 2024, I set a goal to land a regular full-time job. Apart from a super cool 2-month internship as a Games User Researcher at Affecture, there wasn’t much progress. But the beginning of 2025 was different, since now I'm a part-time UX Research Assistant at EyeReply. It means a lot that I get to expand on my UX skills.
Experience as a UX Researcher
During my time as a UX Research intern at GAMUCATEX, I was given more responsibility and was in charge of long-term projects from start to finish. This experience improved my ability to plan and execute user research methods, transcribe and analyze data, and present insights to other team departments. It also increased my ability to work agilely with cross-functional teams, delegate tasks, and communicate with relevant external stakeholders.

I graduated in June 2024
I graduated with an MSc in Information Studies from Aalborg University, where ethnographic research, contextual inquiries, qualitative surveys, interviews, and usability studies were part of the curriculum. Throughout my studies, I also learned about cognitive science and psychology. I conducted low-fidelity (sketching) and high-fidelity prototype testing. Check out my portfolio.
Marketing experience at an agency
As a Bachelor's student and SEO intern at Impact Extend A/S, I wrote advertorials and inserted the most relevant keywords. I wrote about different topics, from cars to engagement rings to the tone of voice of the target audience. As a Marketing Automation Assistant, I created email newsletters and user journeys to ensure each received a personalised and engaging newsletter.

A problem solver from the start
I worked for a chain store called Ecigz while studying for my AP, working independent shifts in 14 shops. This meant I was responsible for bookkeeping and product setup while adapting to new surroundings. There, I noticed a lack of communication and training, so I designed an internal intranet and an onboarding guide. These proved valuable and led to a promotion to marketing assistant at Efuma, a distribution company that obtained the chain store.
Learned to read the customer's needs
I was a trainee at Petworld, selling and ordering products, publishing Facebook posts, and training new employees. This experience was related to my retail education. Working in retail taught me how to converse with different types of people, observe and read their tone of voice and body language, and identify their needs. It strengthened my empathy skills and served me well later in my UX Research job.

Joggling an active life and networking
During my High School years, I dabbled in different service industry jobs and took digital design and other IT-related courses. This is the same period I moved away from home and met many different people in my path. I cherish networking and have planned and executed get-together events for former student classmates, work colleagues and friends I would hang out with in Kings Garden.
Web development background
In my teens, I knew I wanted to study and work with something creative and IT-related, so I studied web development for 2 years after completing elementary school. I learned how to code, build databases in MySQL and edit images. While my teachers did not use the term "UX", they taught me how to design websites based on usability, information architecture and how to choose background and text colours to enhance readability. This perhaps explains why I now know that UX is the primary field I want to pursue.
